NOTES:
- You need a PAYPAL business account- PAYPAL will need to verify stuff
- Each product is separate- you cannot add different sizes, colors, prices, or any other attributes to that product. To do so you will need to duplicate it for each attribute.
- You need to purchase a premium upgrade for each eCommerce site you build in Wix.
- Only English is supported at this time.
- The amount of products is limited (# being updated)
The Cart is a Premium feature. You can try it out for free in the Wix editor but to start selling you’ll need to upgrade to the Wix eCommerce
- package.
How to use Wix eCommerce to turn your sites into an online shop
1. Add Wix eCommerce widget to your Site
If you haven’t already, open the Wix editor (via My Account / Create > rollover, edit)
Go to Widgets > eCommerce Drag and drop it into the editor.
2. Customize Your Shop
Click outside the eCommerce feature so you can customize all the parts.
i. Click on the product gallery section of the eCommerce widget. Using the property panel at the bottom of the editor:
Add images and info using “Manage”. You can also change “Skins” and customize colors, navigation and more.
ii. Then click on the shopping cart section and using its property panel, customize it’s colors and more.
3. Connect Shopping Cart to PayPal
Click on the “check out” button
Go to “PayPal Settings” (property panel bottom of the editor) and add the email you login to PayPal with.
Now you can get paid directly into your PayPal account.
Note: You will need to have a PayPal business account. Get one here if you don’t have one already.
4. Preview > Save / Publish
Check out how it looks in Preview. And when you are happy with your new shop click Save (or Publish if this is a new site).
That’s it! You are ready to start selling online. All you need to do to make it work now is upgrade to the Wix eCommerce package.
5. Modify your store at anytime
Like everything in Wix, you can modify or edit your eCommerce shop at any time, and when you hit save the changes will automatically update to your life shop.
How to upgrade your site to Wix eCommerce package
1. Upgrade your site:
a. Via MyAccount: rollover the Wix site you have added eCommerce widget and hit “Upgrade”
b. Via the Wix editor: in the Wix editor, click on the page you have added the eCommerce widget > hit Preview > Hit Upgrade
c. From here: click GO > rollover the Wix site you have added eCommerce widget and hit “Upgrade”
2. Then simply buy the Wix eCommerce package and you’re done.
What currencies can I use / sell in?
Currently Wix eCommerce supports all currencies PayPal supports. This includes: US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Australian Dollars and Canadian Dollars.

How Do I Add Shipping Charges?
This is easily added via PayPal. ie When people click “check out” shipping gets added to their total amount.

Tip: If you don’t like this method, you can also add “steps” to your checkout of process on your Wix
