If you’re using a ‘Like button‘ on your website and want to view Stats on it, go to http://www.facebook.com/insights and click on ‘Insites for your Website‘ (the green button at the to right). Choose the domain name and what to link it to (person or page) and then take the META tag it gives you and insert that into the header of your website so Facebook can track the like clicks on your site.
Like Button – The “Like” buttons that appear on your website. When they click this button, it creates a “Like Story”.
Like Story – The Facebook news feed stories that are created when someone clicks that button. (For example: “Dan likes a link: The Future of Social Media on Mashable.com”)
So 100 “Like Button Impressions” means that 100 people viewed a web page on your site that contained your like button on it. 100 “Like Story Impressions” means that 100 people viewed a page on Facebook with a story created by your like button.
These screenshots will show you how to exclude any IP’s from your Google Analytics account. This is useful if you want to only show incoming traffic from sources other than common ones like yourself or others working on your website.
The method here shows instructions from the newer Google Analytics version. You must first sign into your account and click on the appropriate profile / website.
